About me

My childhood and teenage years in Ireland instilled in me a love the sea, of a rich variety of landscapes, of lyrical line and storytelling, I enjoy weaving narrative elements into my work.

Having changed career after 20 years in children's publishing and Fine Art related areas, I now live in Sussex where I combine teaching with glass work.

As well as developing my own work, I enjoy the challenge of creating unique pieces which capture the essence of the most individual and idiosyncratic briefs.

Inspired by its colours, textures and connection with the history of art and illustration, glass is my passion. It continues to spark a stream of ideas and innovative approaches blending old and new techniques.
